Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: December 7, 2025

TeachSOR is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

TeachSOR is striving for conformance with WCAG 2.1 level AA. We believe that the internet should be available and accessible to anyone, and we are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability.

Measures to Support Accessibility

TeachSOR takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of our website:

  • We include accessibility throughout our internal policies.

  • We continually review our website to ensure text is legible, colors have sufficient contrast, and navigation is keyboard-friendly.

  • We ensure images include alternative text (alt-text) descriptions for screen readers.

Feedback

Despite our very best efforts to make all pages and content on teachsor.org fully accessible, some content may not have yet been fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. This may be a result of not having found or identified the most appropriate technological solution.
